Since the landfall of the powerful hurricane Katrina,
we have been bombarded hourly with images of the
physical, emotional and natural devastation that
was visited upon the peoples and all living things in the impacted regions.
The destruction is beyond comprehension.
The misery overwhelming.
The magnitude of the suffering unimaginable.
The human spirit arises within each witness -
crying in compassion - What can I do?
The still small voice within answers -
clearly, calmly and with absolute certainty:
Dispel negativity, energize recovery.

Even the most financially challenged among us,
the most physically impaired,
the most geographically inaccessible,
are capable of focusing loving intent,
channeled from the Absolute, (Source, Creator)
with the intent of sending energy over vast distances
to ones who need the touch of Spirit desperately,
and who may have forgotten that they are not alone.

Take a deep breath.
Hold it.
Let it go.
Take another deep breath.
Hold it.
Breathe out.
Take another deep breath.
Hold.
Breathe out in a long sigh.

Imagine your physical being is rooted to the ground through your feet,
and connected to the stars and planets through the top of your head.
Feel the centeredness; savor the feeling -
you are right where you are supposed to be - planet Earth.

Everything on our planet is composed of energy.
Nothing is solid or static, really.
Everything is moving, energetic, in flux.
Visualize this movement flowing through your awareness.
Sense that in its original form, it is serene
and yet powerful, capable of moving mountains with a thought.
Understand that chaos is an energy that will continue swelling unabated
until it is met by energy that is equal and opposite.
Intend that you are channeling this anti-chaos energy
pure and unbound
to those places and peoples who can sense it
and use it to manifest that which they know they need at this time.
Hold the image of flowing energy going to those who need to feel it.

You need not do anything with this image but allow it to be.
In fact, the more you call this to mind,
the more you will realize that you are capable
of channeling energy at all times with your etheric body,
without any cost to your conscious functioning,
and to the great benefit of those in need elsewhere on the planet.
By all means, please respond in other ways as your means allow.
But remember also that change is a thought away,
and there is an awful lot of negativity that can be balanced
by mindful connection.
